Stanford: CoachingSearch.com has learned that Carolina Panthers assistant wide receivers coach Lance Taylor will join the Stanford University staff. Taylor is expected to coach the running backs for David Shaw. Prior to coaching with the Panthers, Taylor spent three seasons with the NY Jets, where he worked with current Stanford offensive coordinator / offensive line coach Mike Bloomgren.

New Haven: Per source, former Rhode Island running backs / specialists coach Eddie Allen will join the New Haven staff as special teams coordinator.

BYU: Per source, South Alabama video director Errol Seaver has accepted the same position at BYU.

UAB: Per source, Cam Aiken will join Bill Clark's staff at UAB as an offensive grad assistant. Aiken previously served as a student-assistant at Clemson.

Fordham: Per source, former UConn linebackers coach / recruiting coordinator Jon Wholley will join the Fordham staff co-defensive coordinator / linebackers coach.

San Jose State: Per source, former Texas defensive coordinator Greg Robinson has interviewed for the defensive coordinator position at San Jose State.

Arkansas: According to ESPN's Brett McMurphy, former Tampa Bay Bucs assistant and Rutgers defensive coordinator Robb Smith has accepted the defensive coordinator job at Arkansas.

Jacksonville Jaguars: According to Ryan O'Halloran of the Florida Times-Union, Seattle Seahawks defensive quality control Robert Salah has accepted the linebackers job in Jacksonville. In addition, Nevada defensive coordinator Scottie Hazleton has accepted the assistant linebackers job.

LSU: Per source, one of the coaches Les Miles is considering for the special teams coordinator position is Kentucky safeties / special teams coordinator Bradley Dale Peveto. From 2005 - 2008, Peveto was a part of the LSU coaching staff. He served as the special teams coordinator for the Tigers national championship team in 2007. According to Jim Kleinpeter of the The Times Picayune, Peveto, LA Tech defensive coordinator Manny Diaz, and former Miami (OH) head coach Mike Haywood are under consideration.

Utah: Utah head coach Kyle Whittingham is moving quickly to try to fill the opening created by the departure of Brian Johnson to Mississippi State. CoachingSearch.com has learned that Whittingham has extended an offer to BYU wide receivers coach Guy Holliday, who is considering his options. No decision has been made.

UAB: Per source, Walker High School (Jasper, AL) assistant Tommy Chandler will join the UAB staff as defensive grad assistant.

Indianapolis Colts: Former Cleveland Browns head coach Rob Chudzinski is joining the Colts organization as the special assistant to the head coach.

Jacksonville State: CoachingSearch.com has learned that Fordham defensive coordinator David Blackwell will join the Jacksonville State staff as defensive coordinator. At Fordham, the Rams defense led the nation in takeaways. Blackwell previously served as the defensive coordinator at South Florida and coached at Clemson for six seasons.

Mississippi State: CoachingSearch.com has confirmed that Utah quarterbacks coach Brian Johnson will join the Mississippi State staff.

West Virginia: Per source, Charlotte defensive coordinator Bruce Tall has interviewed at West Virginia. A source tells CoachingSearch.com that Holgorsen has yet to determine how he wants to arrange the defensive staff. The Charleston Gazette is also reporting that Tall has interviewed.

Minnesota Vikings: Per source, San Jose State offensive line coach Hank Fraley will join the Minnesota Vikings staff.

Pace University: Bridgeton Academy head coach Chad Walker will join the Pace University staff as offensive coordinator.

UCLA: The school has announced that linebackers coach / special teams coordinator Jeff Ulbrich has been promoted to defensive coordinator. In addition, offensive line coach / run game coordinator Adrian Klemm has added the title of associate head coach and defensive backs coach / passing game coordinator Demetrice Martin has added the title of assistant head coach. It will be interesting to see if Jim Mora targets former USC special teams coach John Baxter for the special teams coordinator job at UCLA.

Detroit Lions: Denver Broncos offensive assistant Jim Bob Cooter will join the Lions staff as quarterbacks coach, according to Bruce Feldman of CBS Sports.

Alabama A&M: Former UAB assistant defensive backs / special teams coordinator Matt Sanders has joined the Alabama A&M staff as defensive backs / recruiting coordinator.

Green Bay Packers: The team has announced the hiring of former Western Michigan wide receivers coach Luke Getsy as offensive quality control coach.

Tulane: According to NOLA.com, former UTEP and Hawaii offensive coordinator Aaron Price will be named quarterbacks coach at Tulane. CoachingSearch.com first indicated on Wednesday this was likely to happen.

Iowa State: According to the Ames Tribune, Louisiana Tech defensive line coach Stan Eggen is expected to be named defensive ends coach at Iowa State.

Rice: Quarterbacks coach Larry Edmondson and wide receivers coach Billy Lynch will serve as co-offensive coordinators.

Arizona State: The school has announced the hiring of West Virginia defensive coordinator Keith Patterson as defensive coordinator / linebackers / defensive special teams coach. Tight ends coach / recruiting coordinator Chip Long will assume the duties of offensive special teams coach.

Montana State: Per source, Tennessee graduate assistant Cody Kempt has emerged as the leading candidate to fill the wide receivers job at Montana State.

Detroit Lions: New offensive coordinator Joe Lombardi tells reporters he expects to call plays for the first time in his NFL career.

Green Bay Packers: Per source, former Illinois head coach Ron Zook will join the Green Bay Packers staff, and former Detroit Lions running backs coach Sam Gash will join the Packers as running backs coach. Here is our story. The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports Zook will be the assistant special teams coach and that running backs coach Alex Van Pelt will move to quarterbacks.

UAB: Per source, Bill Clark is retaining Richard Owens, who will be the tight ends coach after serving as offensive coordinator / wide receivers coach last season.

Texas A&M - Commerce: Per source, East Central University defensive backs coach Darren Garrigan has accepted the defensive backs job at Texas A&M - Commerce.

Richmond: Per source, former James Madison offensive coordinator / quarterbacks coach Mike O'Cain and former Penn State quarterbacks coach Charlie Fisher are among a few candidates that could join the Richmond staff.

Mississippi State: Per source, Utah co-offensive coordinator / quarterbacks coach Brian Johnson has emerged as a candidate to join the Mississippi State staff. In addition, Dan Mullen has talked with former Wake Forest offensive coordinator Steed Lobotzke and at least one other candidate. Don't be surprised if Mullen makes a decision over the weekend.

Denver: Defensive coordinator Jack Del Rio has signed a two-year deal to remain with the Broncos.

West Virginia: The Charleston Daily Mail reports that safeties coach Tony Gibson is the leading candidate for the open defensive coordinator job.

Central Michigan: Former Miami (OH) director of football operations Reed Schuitema has accepted the same position at Central Michigan.

Syracuse: According to Brent Ax of The Post-Standard, Syracuse offensive coordinator George McDonald will assume the responsibility of coaching the wide receivers.

Louisville: Per source, Alabama defensive backs coach Greg Brown will join the Louisville staff. Here are the details.

Florida State: Per source, keep an eye on developments at FSU. A source has informed CoachingSearch.com that James Willis may now decide to remain at ULL as the defensive coordinator. On Wednesday, Mark Hudsepth thanked Willis for his contributions for the season and announced that Willis had indeed resigned. ** Chad Washington of the Daily Advertiser in Lafayette is now reporting that Willis is staying at ULL.

Atlanta Falcons: Former Baltimore Ravens tight ends coach Wade Harman will join the Falcons as the assistant offensive line coach.

West Virginia: According to MetroNews, West Virginia defensive coordinator Keith Patterson will join the Arizona State staff.

Eastern Michigan: The school has announced the hiring of former Miami (OH) defensive coordinator / linebackers coach Jay Peterson as running backs coach.

Montana State: Per source, the wide receivers job at Montana State has opened up.

Temple: The school has announced the promotion of graduate assistant Adam DiMichele to wide receivers coach.

Cleveland Browns: The team has announced the hiring of former Baltimore Ravens running backs coach Wilbert Montgomery to the same position, former Washington Redskins wide receivers coach Mike McDaniel to the same position and former Redskins assistant defensive backs coach Richard Hightower as offensive quality control coach.

Utah State: Per source, Arizona State corners / special teams coordinator Joe Lorig will join the Utah State staff as linebackers coach. Here is our story.

Arkansas State: Expect Arkansas State head coach Blake Anderson to move quickly with the tight ends job. Per source, Anderson has already made an offer.

North Carolina: Former Texas running backs coach Larry Porter has joined the North Carolina staff as running backs coach. Upon Randy Jordan's departure to the Washington Redskins last Friday, CoachingSearch.com tabbed Porter as the likely replacement for Jordan. Porter's experience as the running backs coach at Arizona State in 2012 was viewed as a big positive. Both Arizona State and UNC like to play extremely fast on the offensive side of the ball. Buffalo Bills: Syracuse wide receivers coach Rob Moore has accepted the wide receiver job in Buffalo.

Duke: As expected, David Cutcliffe has promoted wide receivers coach Scottie Montgomery to offensive coordinator. Montgomery will shift to quarterbacks, according to The Blue Devil Lair. Spring practice starts on Friday for Duke. The Blue Devil Lair adds a couple of interesting tidbits.

Florida: Will Muschamp announced that student assistant Mike Peterson has been hired to a full-time job on the strength & conditioning staff.

Cincinnati: According to the Cincinnati Enquirer, the school is expected to name former Colorado athletic director Mike Bohn as its new AD.

Georgia: Per source, former USC linebackers coach Mike Ekeler will join the Georgia staff today. Here is our story.

Army: Per source, former Wyoming director of player personnel Danilo Robinson will join Jeff Monken's staff at Army.

Minnesota Vikings: FIU defensive line coach Andre Patterson is joining the Vikings staff as defensive line coach. Robb Akey will serve as the assistant defensive line coach.

Long Beach Poly High School (CA): According to the Long Beach Press-Telegram, former New York Giants linebacker and current ESPN analyst Antonio Pierce will be named head coach at Long Beach Poly High School.

LSU: According to the Baton Rouge Advocate, LSU special teams coordinator Thomas McGaughey is leaving LSU and is expected to join the New York Jets staff. CoachingSearch.com first reported last week that McGaughey was the leading candidate for the Jets special teams job.

FSU: Jimbo Fisher has announced new titles: Quarterbacks coach Randy Sanders and wide receivers coach Lawrence Dawsey will serve as co-offensive coordinators. Running backs coach Jay Graham adds the title of special teams coordinator. In addition, Sal Sunseri adds the title of head coach for defense.

Houston Texans: The team has announced the hiring of Tim Kelly as offensive quality control coach and Will Lawing as defensive quality control coach. Both were graduate assistants at Penn State under Bill O’Brien last season.

University of New Haven: Per source, former Elon University offensive coordinator Chris Pincince will be named head coach at New Haven.

Detroit Lions: Per source, Delaware tight ends coach / special teams coordinator Devin Fitzsimmons will join the Detroit Lions staff as assistant special teams coach. Here is our story.

North Carolina: As indicated earlier today as a strong possibility, CoachingSearch.com has now learned that Arkansas State tight ends / recruiting coordinator Keith Heckendorf will indeed join the UNC staff as quarterbacks coach.

Florida State: Per source, Louisiana-Lafayette defensive coordinator / linebackers coach James Willis will join the Florida State staff. Willis just finished his first season at UL. He previously coached at Texas Tech, Alabama, and Auburn. Jimbo Fisher's staff is now set. Here is our story.

Green Bay Packers: Per source, former Tampa Bay Bucs assistant special teams coach Phil Galiano is interviewing today with the Green Bay Packers for the same position.

Utah: Defensive coordinator Kalani Sitake tweets that former Utah player Joe Dale has joined the staff as a graduate assistant.

Wisconsin: Gary Andersen says running back Melvin Gordon will have a say in the hiring of the new running backs coach. Here is our story.

Iowa State: Per source, Arkansas offensive graduate assistant Tommy Mangino will join the Iowa State staff and work with father, Mark, the Cyclones’ new offensive coordinator. Here is our story.

Baltimore Ravens: Per source, Pittsburgh wide receivers coach Bobby Engram has emerged as a strong candidate to land the wide receivers job with the Baltimore Ravens.

North Carolina: Per source, Larry Fedora is strongly considering rehiring Keith Heckendorf, who joined the Arkansas State staff as tight ends coach / recruiting coordinator in early January. Heckendorf served as the offensive quality control at North Carolina the last three seasons. At UNC, Heckendorf would coach the quarterbacks.

Oregon State: Oregon State head coach Mike Riley tells the Daily Barometer that he is interviewing candidates this week for the offensive coordinator.

Northern Arizona: Michigan offensive grad assistant Adam Stenavich has joined the Northern Arizona staff as offensive line coach.

Cleveland Browns: According to Fox Sports reporter Alex Marvez, former UConn offensive coordinator George Deleone and former Tampa Bay Bucs offensive assistant Jimmy Raye will join Mike Pettine's staff in Cleveland. Deleone will serve as the offensive line coach, Raye the senior offensive assistant.

Cal: Cal has officially announced Greg Burns has accepted the defensive backs job. Burns coached the defensive backs at UMass in 2013.

Memphis: Per source, among the candidates to fill the corners job at Memphis are former Cal and Colorado assistant Ashley Ambrose and Alabama defensive backs coach Greg Brown.

Bethune-Cookman: Per source, Bethune-Cookman defensive backs / special teams coordinator / assistant head coach Terry Sims has decided to remain at Bethune-Cookman despite an offer to become the defensive coordinator at Prairie View A&M.

Nebraska: According to the Lincoln Journal Star, every Nebraska assistant has received an extension to Jan. 31, 2016. Defensive line coach Rick Kaczenski received a raise to $225,000, and linebackers coach / special teams coordinator Ross Els received a raise to $238,900. New defensive backs coach Charlton Warren will earn $220,000.

Cal: According to GoldenBearReport.com, Sonny Dykes will name former UMass defensive backs coach Greg Burns as the defensive backs coach at Cal.

Arkansas: Arkansas radio personality Bo Mattingly warns via twitter, "Do not sleep on Robb Smith as the Arkansas DC." Earlier today, CoachingSearch.com mentioned that Bielema was certainly considering Smith, despite the belief throughout a portion of the Razorback nation that Randy Shannon is getting the job. Read our Top 10 coaching carousel storylines from earlier. Among the people that I have spoken with, the belief is that Robb Smith will end up on the Arkansas staff in the near future.

Eastern Illinois: Mike Markuson has accepted the offensive line job at Eastern Illinois, a source confirmed with CoachingSearch.com today. Markuson spent the 2013 at Northeast Mississippi CC. He previously coached at Wisconsin, Ole Miss, and Arkansas. Markuson and new Eastern Illinois head coach Kim Dameron were on the same staff at Ole Miss under Houston Nutt.

Oakland Raiders: CoachingSearch.com has learned that former Dallas Cowboys assistant Chris Boniol will join the Oakland Raiders staff as the assistant special teams coach. Here is our story.

Tennessee Titans: Ken Whisenhunt has hired former Cleveland Browns defensive intern Cannon Matthews as quality control coordinator.

MTSU: Tommy West will join the MTSU staff as defensive line coach, a source has informed CoachingSearch.com. West, the former head coach at the University of Memphis, did not coach in 2013. He previously served as the defensive coordinator at Southern Miss and UAB. Here is our story.

University of New Haven: Per source, former Elon offensive coordinator Chris Pincince has interviewed for the head coaching job at New Haven. Pincince has two previous tenures on the New Haven staff.

UCLA: The LA Times reports offensive line coach / running game coordinator Adrian Klemm’s new contract is believed to be worth $700,000 annually.

University of New Haven: Don't be surprised if Middletown North HS (NJ) head coach Steve Bush emerges in New Haven's search for a new head coach. Busch just finished his first season at Middletown North. He previously coached the wide receivers for the Miami Dolphins in 2012 and served as the offensive quality control from 2009 - 2011.

San Diego Chargers: Mike McCoy has promoted offensive quality control Nick Sirianni to quarterbacks coach, hired former Cleveland Browns offensive quality control coach Shane Steichen to the same position and hired former Houston Texans assistant linebackers coach Bobby King to the same position.

Green Bay Packers: Assistant special teams coach Chad Morton will not return to the staff.

Akron: Holmes Community College defensive backs coach Otis Mounds has joined Terry Bowden's staff at Akron as the corners coach. Mounds replaces Terrell Buckley, who recently joined the Louisville staff.

Detroit Lions: Former Tampa Bay Bucs defensive backs coach Tony Oden has joined the Detroit Lions’ staff, per source. In addition, Duquesne linebackers coach Matt Raich has also joined the Lions' staff as defensive quality control coach. Raich worked with new Lions defensive coordinator Teryl Austin in Arizona under Ken Whisenhunt. Here is our story.

Houston: Tony Levine has promoted associate director of football operations Tory Teykl to director of football operations.

Cleveland Browns: According to the Cleveland Plain Dealer, former Washington Redskins offensive coordinator Kyle Shanahan will sign a three-year deal with the Browns on Tuesday to become offensive coordinator. The deal is done.

Tennessee: Director of football operations Brad Pendergrass has announced his resignation. He had served the role since 2010.

UAB: Despite an offer to become the running backs coach at UAB, Auburn director of player personnel Casey Woods has decided to remain at Auburn.

Holy Cross: Bucknell defensive pass game coordinator / safeties coach Mike Kashurba is the new Holy Cross defensive coordinator.

Northeast Mississippi CC: Northeast Mississippi CC announced the hiring of Paige Anders as defensive coordinator and Kenny Jackson as defensive line coach. Anders served as the defensive coordinator at Coffeyville CC (KS) in 2013. Jackson is a former assistant at Hinds CC and Itawamba CC. He did not coach in 2013.

San Jose State: It will be interesting to see if former Tennessee Titans assistant and Kentucky defensive coordinator Steve Brown emerges in San Jose State's search for a new defensive coordinator. Brown and Ron Carragher coached together at Kentucky under Rich Brooks.

Washington: According to the Seattle Times, the NCAA has closed its case on UW and Tosh Lupoi. Both parties have been completely cleared. Here is the story from the Seattle Times.

Oakland Raiders: Per source, former Minnesota Vikings defensive backs coach Joe Woods will join the Oakland Raiders staff. Here is our story on Woods. Per a different source, former Detroit Lions defensive backs coach Marcus Robertson will also join the Raiders staff. Robertson will serve as the assistant defensive backs coach. Ottawa Redblacks (CFL): The team has announced the hiring of former Edmonton Eskimos defensive line coach Leroy Blugh to the same position.

UMass: According to Vandy247, Vanderbilt defensive quality control coach Charles Walker has accepted the outside linebackers job at UMass.

San Diego Chargers: Cleveland Browns offensive quality control Shane Streichen has joined the Chargers staff as offensive quality control.

Air Force: Per source, former Penn State linebackers coach Ron Vanderlinden will join Troy Calhoun's staff at Air Force. Here is our story.

Rice: Former Auburn head strength coach Kevin Yoxall has accepted the same position at Rice. "Yox" spent this season at Strake Jesuit HS in Houston, TX.

Toledo: A source tells CoachingSearch that former Wyoming wide receivers coach Derek Sage has accepted a position at Toledo.

Denver Broncos: According to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, the Broncos will begin negotiations with John Fox on a new contract after the Super Bowl, and both sides are confident they'll come to a deal.

Mississippi State: A source tells CoachingSearch that former Wake Forest offensive coordinator Steed Lobotzke has emerged as a candidate to join the Mississippi State staff. Per source, Mullen is also talking with at least one other candidate.

Vanderbilt: A source tells CoachingSearch that director of player personnel Jon Haskins, who recently joined Derek Mason’s staff, is no longer a part of the staff.

UAB: Per source, UAB head coach Bill Clark has offered the running backs job to Auburn director of player personnel Casey Woods. A source tells CoachingSearch that Gus Malzahn is trying to retain Woods. It Woods takes the job, he would be the fourth Auburn staffer to leave this offseason.
