The Detroit Lions have added two more coaches to the staff.

Former Tampa Bay Bucs defensive backs coach Tony Oden has joined the Lions’ staff, per source. In addition, Duquesne linebackers coach Matt Raich has also joined the Lions staff as defensive quality control coach.

Oden coached the defensive backs in Tampa for the past two seasons. He was the defensive backs coach for the New Orleans Saints in 2011 after five years as the assistant defensive backs coach. Other stops include the Houston Texans, Eastern Michigan, East Carolina, Army, Boston College and Millersville University.

Raich spent three years with new Lions defensive coordinator Teryl Austin with the Arizona Cardinals from 2007-09. Raich was there until 2012, working as linebackers coach for the final four seasons. Other stops include the Pittsburgh Steelers, Robert Morris, Glenville State and Westminister.
