Greg Brown to join Louisville staff

Petrino snags Bama assistant

Alabama defensive backs coach Greg Brown will join the Louisville staff, a source has informed

The veteran assistant coach, who recently finished his first season at Alabama, has been coaching defensive backs since 1981.

Since then, Brown has coached at places such as Wyoming, Purdue, Colorado, Arizona, and in the NFL with the Bucs, 49ers, Oilers, Chargers, 49ers, and Saints.

In short, experience isn’t an issue.

Brown (56) will coach the safeties at Louisville. In the secondary, he will pair with corners coach Terrell Buckley.
